Our Chakra Rosso at Vinoway - Wine Selection 2018

On the 4th May we will be present in Salice Salentino (Lecce), in the magnificent setting of Castello Monaci in occasion of one of the most glamour events dedicated to the wine world. That’s Vinoway, with its Wine Selection 2018.

This event has been conceived and arranged by Davide Gangi, the President of the Cultural Association and Promotion Vinoway Italy, with the aim of promoting the Best White and red Italian Wine tasted and selected by the authors of Vinoway.com Magazine.

Our Chakra Rosso by Giovanni Aiello, made with the grapes of the karst lands between Castellana Grotte and Gioia del Colle, has been selected as one of the best wine of Italy thanks to its peculiarity and excellence. An unexpected recognition that fills us with pride, above all because we share with the association the aim of emphasizing wine producers’ work and, in particular, the history of national wine-growing, an essential and priceless cultural heritage for our country.


This wine production is really something of which Giovanni Aiello should be proud of. Despite the other wines, the Chakra Rosso wine-making is based on an innovative technique named “vendanges entières”, which has been used throughout centuries in the most eminent “domaines” of the Côte d’Or in Burgundy. By following this particular process, the fruit clusters are used as a whole in open vats without destemming: this is the only way to strengthen and enhance the wine refinement, make the body slim and the bouquet particularly flavored.
